Girls Camp

We were able to go to the last part of Girls Camp last night.
The girls spent the week at Hinckley Ranch and it was BEAUTIFUL!!

They had rope courses, rock climbing walls, shooting, archery, canoes, and more.
We got to be up there for a few games, visiting, a faith walk, retiring the flag (and the men did a musical number), dessert, and the best part--testimony meeting.  These girls (and their leaders) are amazing.  I love being with them and hearing from them.

And a big shout out to mom, dad, and CHRIS for watching our littles!
THANK YOU!!

H Date

We finally went on our “H” date.
Darin planned and we had a great time.

We went for a HIKE in HOLBROOK canyon.
Darin taught the kids HOW to make whistles with snake grass.
I made Lindsay a HANDMADE snake grass bracelet.

After the HIKE we went to HOKULIA for some HAWAIIAN shaved ice.
After dessert we watched HONEY I Shrunk the Kids.

During the movie HAYLEE and the HUSBAND HELD HANDS.

7 Years of Martial Bliss!

Last week was our 7th wedding anniversary!
I am SO lucky to be married to this guy!
I am so thankful that Darin is the man that I ended up with.
He is nearly perfect and he is perfect for me!

For our anniversary we went on a date to City Creek.
We tried a new restaurant called Brio.
It was tasty!

About an hour before Darin got home from work I decided it would be fun to do another "Anniversary Inn" room.  I called my sister, Heather, and she said to the the "Hawaiian Hideaway."   (And she let me borrow a bunch of her stuff--thanks Heather). So, in 60 minutes, and without spending a dime, we put together a little Hawaiian Hideaway.

Happy Anniversary my sweet!
