Becca's 14th Birthday!

My super darling niece, Becca, turned 14 on Monday.
I know it's cliche to say, but I still remember the day she was born.
It's extra weird to think that next year, she'll be the age I was when she was born!

Becca is such a kind good girl, and I'm so glad that my kids have her as an example--because she's a good one!

We celebrated her birthday up in Mueller Park Canyon.
We roasted hot dogs, ate yummy food and cake, and we made s'mores!

Happy Birthday Becca!!

Oh, Andrew and Reese!  These two make me laugh!!
(And yes, Andrew is older--my tiny little man).

Snowbird

We had the BEST time at Snowbird this weekend!
Snowbird is a special place to us because that is where Darin took me on our first date and where he proposed!

We did the Alpine Slide, Climbing Wall, Bounce House, Bungee Trampoline, Aerial Tram and Peruvian Chairlift.
We also went for a hike that was a little intense for our small family, but we had fun!

I carried this boy on my shoulders the whole hike--a pretty good workout.
Andrew, however, took a nap on my shoulders for part of the hike.

Here is a little video of our time at Snowbird.
It is honestly probably the worst video I've ever made, but it will be a good memory for our family.

And note to self:  Taking video from below my face is NOT flattering!  HA!
I was trying to record Andrew while we went down the slide.
But it is mostly (unfortunately) of me from a very unflattering angle!

Gunnerson Christmas Party

Rick and Olivia planned THE BEST Christmas party EVER!
We went up to Woodland and Olivia made us a delicious breakfast!
Then, we went sledding, and we had a lot of fun!

I still can't get over how beautiful it was up there!

Tom and his cute girlfriend, Judi!

Lovely Olivia!

The hill we went down was HUGE!!  Matt did NOT love that part!

Olivia and Liv.

Judi was a really good sport, this was her 1st (and probably last) time!

I went down then dove off half way down the hill, it REALLY was HUGE!

Even Grandpa went down!

I love this beautiful meadow at the bottom.
And if you look close, you can see dad Gunnerson crashed at the bottom.

My dream boat!

Grandma and Breanna went down too!  They took quite a tumble!

Olivia brought some yummy hot chocolate for everyone!  What a treat!

Matt had fun wrestling with Eli.

Isn't this so pretty!

Andrew thinks he is big enough to go snowmobiling!

Look at this beautiful little Scarlet Quinn!  So cute!

The whole family!

Our little family.  Don't mind me, I'm just looking for Andrew's boot!

Towards the end, Andrew got a little cold and grumpy.

He was much happier in the warm car watching a show.

After sledding, we went back to Rick and Olivia's for a yummy lunch, visiting, and games.

Thanks Rick and Olivia for planning such a WONDERFUL party!!
