Drive Date

Darin, Matthew, and I went for a drive for a drive for our date yesterday. Here are a few pictures from our journey.

I know that I am his mother, but I just think that Matthew is so stinkin cute!! Here are two more videos of him lately. One is Matthew laughing--sorry about the camera work. It is a little tough being the camera woman and playing with Matthew at the same time. The other video is Matthew trying to make the rasberry sound or the “voiced bilabial fricative” sound as genious Heather calls it!! :) Enjoy!

Rolling Matthew!

As I mentioned in a previous post, Matthew has been rolling over since he was 7 weeks old. I know that the doctors tell us to give babies "tummy time" but this is what happens as soon as he gets on his tummy!

Farmer Darin

Darin has been working on his garden lately, and he sure has done a great job! He is planting beets, corn, carrots, crookneck squash, lemon squash, spaghetti squash, tomatoes, daikons, Chinese cabbage, zucchini, mint, pepper mint, and Asian melons. I wish that I would have taken before an after pictures because he has done a great job! I love going up there to see his work, but also to visit with my grandparents, look at the hummingbirds, and have little picnics. Here are a few pictures from our recent journeys to the garden.

Matthew's Favorite Things

Yes, Matthew has learned to grab anything that is within reach and put it in his mouth!! Every time Darin gives Matthew a kiss Matthew grabs the glasses off Darin's face and puts them in his mouth. He did the same thing with my sunglasses. But I have to say that my favorite it the library card and the shoe!

Friend Get Together

Yesterday I was able to get together with a few of my friends from High School. Three of us had babies within a few weeks of each other. It was fun to see them all together! Here are a few pictures from the day! Thanks Annie for letting us come up!

Fun Weekend

Darin, Matthew, and I had a fun weekend! We walked up to the Post Office where they had a bunch of chalk art! I am so impressed with anyone that has artistic ability! Here are a few of the pictures from the fun night!

Cinco de Mayo

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Darin, Matthew, and I had a Happy Cinco de Mayo complete with mariachi music, virgin margaritas, enchiladas, and a home-made piñata! Hope you had a good one!
