Pioneer FHE and Sunday

Sunday, Darin's parents came over, and taught the kids about some of their pioneer ancestors.  They also taught them pick up sticks, and cat's cradle.

Monday, we continued with more pioneer games, pioneer dinner, the boys made tin lanters, and the girls made rag dolls.

We love pioneer day!

13th Anniversary

We had a wonderful "Covid" Anniversary!
We had a picnic for lunch and for dinner!
We went for a fun walk around Bountiful pond.
Darin got my original wedding ring resized and I am slightly obsessed with it.
That night we watch "Sleepless in Seattle" in the back yard.

4th of July

4th of July was interesting this year.
We had a yummy breakfast at mom and dad's.
That night Darin and the kids went to the neighbor's for a BBQ, but I wasn't feeling well, so I didn't go.  I decided after a couple hours of intense pain, to go to the instacare, but they were closed. We came home and I dealt with the pain for another hour before going to the emergency room.  After blood work, ultrasound, a CT, and more, we discovered that my gallbladder isn't functioning.  Boo.  But I sure felt better after my morphine kicked in.  I was also very grateful for my mom and Nichols stepping in to babysit, and entertaining my kids with fireworks, especially on the 4th of July!
