Alphabet Dates--Z Date

Yesterday we did our final Alphabet date!  Z!!

We went to the ZIPPED up to go to the  ZOO, (looked for ZEBRA but didn't see any), went to ZUPA's for lunch, and watched ZOO Keeper, then took a rest and got some ZZZZZs.

I couldn't believe how ACTIVE the animals were!  And even though it was a free day NO ONE was there!!  I bet we went 30 minutes without seeing another person.  Even the workers were just building snowmen because there was NO ONE there!!  (Ok, maybe like 5 other families).

YouTube Night! (Y Date)

We had a fun Y date a little while ago. 

 (We actually went out of order because I wanted to make sure we did it while the weather was still nice).

We invited a few of our YOUNG friends to watch YouTube videos in our YARD.

We ate YUMMY snacks and YAPPED before and after the vidoes.

It was a fun night!

Alphabet Dates W & X

W Date

WE had a WONDERFUL W date over the WEEKEND.  WE WENT to the aquarium, WALKED around and WATCHED the fish under WATER.  After the aquarium we WENT to WAFFLE Luv!

X Date

Darin planned an eXceptional X date.  We went to TeXas Road house, but it was too busy, so we decided to eXit.  So, we went to Woods Cross (WX) to eat MeXican Food.  My plate was X-tra large and I thought I was going to X-plode! We were going to play a game on our X Box, but it was broken, so we watched a movie on NetfliX.

Alphabet Dates--U Date

This weekend we had an UNBELIEVABLE “U date.”

We started by going to watch Noah’s “UTE Conference” football game, where the kids saw UNCLE Rick.

Then, the kids watched the movie “UP” as we drove to our secret destination. 

Well, we got lost, made lots of U-TURNS, and made an UNEXPECTED stop at Chick-fil-A.

Next, we went to visit the UP house! (Lindsay was so cute and freaked out!  She loved it).

Following the UP house, we watched the UNBELIEVABLE Brigham Young UNIVERSITY game. (Seriously, did you watch that!?  Best night ever!) 

We made and ate Pineapple UPSIDE-DOWN cake, and had milk from cow's UDDERS.

We sure love that Noah!  He is a great cousin!!

Alphabet Dates-- T Date

Darin planned a TERRIFFIC T date!  He TOOK us TO THE movie THEATER (THANK TO Rick for the TICKETS and TREATS). We watched Inside Out, and I should have brought TISSUES for my TEARS!!  After the show we TROTTED around Station Park and Darin bought us a TREAT at TORINO’s, it was TASTY!  They also overcharged us and I got TWELVE dollars back!  Our TOTS kept TEASING us by getting their hands wet in the fountain and TOUCHING us!  Matt did some cool TRICKS with Andrew.  That night Darin TOOK me TO THE TEMPLE.

(Side note: EVERYTIME we have done these alphabet dates, Darin tries to make our date the temple.  B=BOUNTIFUL temple,  D= Redeem the DEAD, F= Creating eternal FAMILIES, H=Go to the HOUSE of the Lord, ect.  He really did it every time it was his turn to plan.  I promise we do go to the temple, but this is the 1^st time I’ve let him count it for one of our Alphabet dates!
