Pioneer Day

I LOVE Bountiful's Pioneer Day.
We LOVED the parade, and we loved the fireworks at Heather's even more.

McMurray's are so fun!
Heather had crafts for the kids (they made glow bugs with eggs, pipe-cleaner, and glow-sticks).
Then, Greg used his potato gun to launch otter-pops, candy, and glow-sticks.

Oh, did I mention how many glow sticks they bought?
1,000--- ONE THOUSAND!!!

Isn't that a BEAUTIFUL sunset!?  I think I took 20 pictures of it!  LOVE it!

This might be my favorite picture from the night.
Me and my 3 siblings.
I LOVE them!  They really are the best!
Here we are oldest to youngest.
Heather, Rick, Ben, and me.

This picture really does make my heart happy.
Oh boy, I just love them so much!

Happy Pioneer Day!---
And you MUST watch this video of Greg shooting off the otter-pops, candy, and glow-sticks!

Cinco de Mayo

Darin and I hosted a little neighborhood Cinco de Mayo potluck.
We have the BEST neighbors in the world, and it was fun to spend an evening with them.

We had lots of yummy food, with a good variety.
It was a PERFECT night!
The weather was beautiful and it was fun to sit and visit with everyone.

After dinner we had a little photo booth, and a pinata for the kids (that I made myself).

Thanks for coming you wonderful neighbors!!

I am kind of in love with this picture of Andrew!

Happy Cinco de Mayo!!

St. Patty's Playdate

Lindsay has been begging to play with Boogie for weeks.
We FINALLY made it happen, and it happened to be on St. Patrick's Day.
Matt had some friends over too, so we had to make it a little green!

We did some finger painting.

And we had a green lunch.
(Green lemonade, peanut butter sandwiches on homemade green bread, green jello, celery, apples, and clover chips).

And we ended the playdate by going on a scavenger hunt to find a leprechaun.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I LOVE Thanksgiving!

We woke up Thursday morning and put our last leaves on our Thankful Tree.

(We later used the leaves to turn Andrew into a Turkey--he's so cute!!)

After we watched the parade, the kids helped me make our pies!
(Because we all know they are awesome at MAKING PIE!)

Then we headed to my parents' house.

My mom always does such a great job setting the table.
I thought this year was particularly cute!

Especially the place cards...mainly because Lindsay has been calling herself,
"Lin-zia!"
So, here is her place card.

We loved being with family while we waited for the finishing touches on the meal.

And let the meal begin!!

Look at all that food!!  And that isn't even all of it!
We also had NINE pies for dessert!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
