Gunnerson Reunion Part 5- Family History Scavenger Hunt

Olivia planned that most wonderful Family History Scavenger Hunt!

It was so much fun!!

She divided us into teams (that weren't just immediate family) and had everyone download an app.

The clues all had to do with something with family history, and we had to take pictures to document each clue.  Some of the examples included things like:

Grandpa and Grandma were married in 1971.  Find a 1971 coin.
Grandma Mortenson loved writing Christmas stories.  Take a picture by a Christmas tree.
Grandma Gunnerson took piano for 8 years.  Take a picture of someone playing the piano.

Grandpa Gunnerson was 6'3".  Take a picture with someone over 6'2"

Grandma's family had a mom, dad, and three daughters.  Recreate their family using strangers.

Grandpa and Grandma have been married for more than 40 years.  Take a picture with a couple that has been married that long.

Grandpa and Grandma were married in the temple.  Take a picture in front of the temple.

Grandpa and Grandma have lived in several different places.  Take a picture with an out of state license plate.

They were all really fun!

And I just had to include this winner!

The ward we visited on Sunday was randomly our Gunnerson cousin, Sara's ward!  

That was a fun surprise!!

Gunnerson Reunion Part 4-- Pedis, Shopping, Golf, and Breakfast

This was a really fun day!
We started the morning by going out to a cute breakfast spot, "The Crepery"

But the highlight of the whole trip was taking Lindsay out for her first pedicure!

I wish I could have captured her excitement and bottled it up!

She was SOOO cute!
She was absolutely beyond thrilled!!

She thought only the moms were going, and at the last minute I told her she got to come too!
She squealed with delight and said, "THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER!!" About 100 times!

After our pedis, we went shopping and I found a dress that matched Lindsay's and Lucy's perfectly!  So, I had to splurge and buy it!!  Lindsay was super excited about that too!

The boys got to have fun golfing too and that night the adults went out to dinner while all the kids stayed home and babysat each other!  It was the perfect little adult night out!

Gunnerson Reunion Part 3-- Swimming

One of the highlights of the trip was the AMAZING three tiered pool!  

We all had SO much fun!  We really could have spent the whole time here!

Highlights included the slide, chicken fights, building human towers, and jumping off the ledge!

Gunnerson Reunion Part 2 --The Hike

We hiked Kannar Falls again and LOVED it again!

The kids all did great!

The only sad part was a lady that snapped her leg and had to be carried down by 14 men!
I felt so bad for her, but she was really positive and tough!

The kids loved the slides and the views were beautiful!

And I know that this picture is not flattering at ALL, but it makes me laugh!!
