Litterally Cheesy!

Lately, Darin and I have been loving the weather. Definitely getting excited for spring! We are big movie watchers, but every time we rent or return a video, or getting groceries, we have just walked instead of driving because the weather has been so nice! Well, for our date this weekend, we went on a little picnic. Darin is a big "romancer" and what he did on our picnic was cute, but very "cheesy"...literally. As part of our dinner we had cheese and crackers, and Darin carved the cheese to say "I love u." We have fun!

Friends + Food = Good times

A few weeks ago, we had a little shower to celebrate the growing belling of my friend Cami! It was so fun to see everyone, and have everyone together again. We played fun games, and I was glad that the food went well. But, as good as my friends are, I have to say the best part was Darin! He was so wonderful to help me with last minute cleaning, decorating, and he actually made one of the salads all by himself! What a guy!

Huge apology!!!

I am so sorry for anyone who has been to my blog lately. I just noticed that the slideshow had music with it. I promise I didn't choose the songs! They must have come automatically, but I the lyrics were TERRIBLE, so if you heard them I am sorry, and I think I have fixed it!

The Long Awaited Florida Pictures!

Here are the Florida Pics!! We had such a fun time with Geoff, Jadi, Kaden, and Kaylee! They are such a cute family! We miss it already! It was so fun! We also had a great time in Disney World! We had a blast!

Happy Birthday!

I came home on my birthday to a clean apartment (again) balloons, streamers, and a cute husband!! I really feel like I lucked out with this one!! I am so lucky to be married to Darin! He also got me an amazing chocolate cake!! What more could you ask for!? We spent the evening eating cafe rio, watching american idol, and eating cake with the family! It was a great day! Oh ya, and he got me trick candels on my cake! FUN!!!

Yummy strawberries!!

These are the SUPER HUGE strawberries that Darin got us for V-day! They were amazing! Not only good chocolate, but the strawberries were incredible!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

I have the best husband in the whole wide world!!! I came home from work today to find a beautiful, clean apartment, a cute guy at the door to greet me, a kiss, and an amazing 2 doezen boquet of yellow (my favorite color) flowers. While I was busy being excited, smelling the flowers and hugging Darin, he said, "look how clean the kitchen is!" And I turned around to find a beautiful boquet of red roses, pink carnations, and white somethings. BEAUTIFUL!!! Then, Darin wanted to show me how clean the bedroom was, and next to my side of the bed was one beautiful colored long stemmed rose! HE IS THE BEST!!! I am one lucky girl!!!

Merry Christmas!

Well, Darin and I have just celebrated our first Christmas together, and it was wonderful! We had a good time up at the cabin last week, and then some good times with both of our families. We are really lucky that our families have different traditions, it made it possible to participate in everything! We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning breakfast with my parents, then Christmas dinner and evening with Darin's family! It is such a blessing to have two wonderful families who love eachother and the Gospel! I am so thankful for this joyus season, and hope to keep those feelings throughout the year! (The last picture is the plate that we had cookies for santa on...but when I woke up--only crumbs!! Santa came!!)

2. How long have you been married? Today is our 5 month aniversary!!
3. How long did you date? Met in August, 1st date in September, 1st kiss in November, Engaged in March, Married in July. So--about 11 months.
4. Who eats more? Depends on the day and the meal (although I did out eat Darin on our first date!)
5. Who said I love you first? I think I wanted to first, but I waited for him to say it first. Stubborn me.
6. Who sings better? Darin! He always makes cute songs up for me every day!! I love it!
7. Who is taller? Darin!
8. Whose temper is worse? I wouldn't say we have a temper, but I get frustrated more easily!
9. Who does the laundry? Usually I do, but last week I came home to find Darin with a clean house, and all the laundry done!! What a guy!!
10. Who does the dishes? We both do! What a guy!!
11. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Nobody!! Darin sleeps on the left side, and I sleep in the middle-left! Ha ha ha!! The right side is always empty!! (Darin says Amen.)
12. Who does the cooking? I usually do, not always the best meals, but Darin is always good to eat everything! No matter how unusual. I love that about him!
13. Who is more stubborn? As seen from #5 I am more stubborn.
14. Who proposed? Darin, Darin, then Darin. Ha ha. The first time he asked me while I was trying to break up with him. The second time I told him I needed 3 weeks to decide. The third time, he took me up to Milcreek Canyon (where our 1st date was) and proposed on a rock.
15. Who is more likely to admit when they are wrong? Darin. I wish it were me, but Darin is pretty darn good. I think we are both pretty quick to admit it, unless we are joking around.
16. Whose parents do you see the most? Together, Darin's parents. But me personally, I keep it pretty equal.
17. Who pays the bills? I do.
18. Who wears the pants in the family? On Sundays, Darin. (because I wear a dress!! ha ha.)

1 Year Anniversary!!

No, no, we haven't been married for a year, but our cute little 1st kiss was 1 year ago. Darin was brave, bold, daring, fearless, etc. and kissed me in the Melting Pot restaurant! So, tonight we celebrated with a little trip down memory lane, and had fondue night! Good times!

Gobble Gobble

Darin, Ben, Rick, and some of his friends spent the morning playing football! No better way to spend thanksgiving morning than with a little football game! Darin played very well and even had 2 touch downs! What a great day!!!
