Darin and I took the kids to the cabin this weekend. Last year Lindsay won a race and got a gift card for two free pizzas. On our way to the cabin we ordered the pizzas. When we got there we gave them the gift card and we still owed $35. Apparently, the gift card was for two SLICES of pizza! Then, when we got to the cabin and opened our “margarita pizza” we found an empty crust! They had forgotten the toppings! So, that wasn’t our most successful trip.
Luckily, the next day was MUCH better! Aunt Vicki told us about a “Fairy Forest” only three miles from the cabin. We LOVED it! I couldn’t believe how much there was so see! We could have stayed an entire day looking at everything!
After the fairy forest, we went to Kamas for Eli’s birthday party! It was a lot of fun! Olivia did such a great job with doing a fun carnival! The kids especially loved riding the horse!

Andrew "slept" in the "triangle room" for the first time.
He and I didn't get much sleep, so Darin let us sleep in a little longer and took the kids on a hike.
After their hike we headed to the "Fairy Forest."

If you ever go near Kamas, and would like to see the "Fairy Forest,"
Here are some directions:
Directions to the “Fairy Forest.”
1. Go to Kamas and take the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway (Hwy 150)
2. Drive to mile marker 17 and park at the pullout
3. Look to the forest, and you’ll see a path to the right. Follow the path.
4. You’ll come to a campground, just cut through the campground and continue on the path.
5. You’ll come to a ‘dry creek bed’ (that currently is not dry), carefully cross the creek and you’ll walk up a short hill.
6. When you get to the top of the short hill, walk about 10 more feet, then turn right and you’ll be at the entrance of the forest!
