Meiji Shrine was pretty crazy. You feel like you are in the center of the
city, and then you cross a road, and suddenly you are in this quiet, peaceful,
grove of trees. You walk up this long
long path and then you are there! It is
amazing to me with all the business of Tokyo how they can manage to preserve
these old shrines right in the city center.
And, I know this may be inappropriate, but it just made me laugh. These signs on how to use the toilet are EVERYWHERE! So funny!
