Haylee's 34th Birthday

I had the BEST birthday!!

On my birthday eve, Matt and I had a converstation
Matt: Are you going to have a party?

Me: No

Matt: If you DID have a party, what theme would you pick?

Me: A yellow theme

Matt: A yellow what birthday?

Me: A happy yellow birthday!

When I woke up, I had the BEST happy yellow birthday!

He put up yellow streamers, and a sign right out my door with yellow smiley faces that said,

"Happy Birthday!  Please go back to bed to wait for breakfast in bed!"

He also made a "play area" for Lucy so I could sleep in!  He is the BEST KID!!

My breakfast consisted of four smiley faces made out of bananas, toast, apples, and carrots!  SO cute!!

Later in the day, a few of my High School friends took me out to lunch!
It was yummy and fun!

I had lots of calls, texts, and visits throughout the day!

(And the day before my parents took me to lunch, and the day after my sister took me to lunch!)

There were also lots of awesome gifts, including gift cards, chocolates, treats, a new wallet and some fancy balsamic vinegar I've been wanting to try!

After school we took the kids bowling (not my ideal, but the kids LOVED it and they were SOOO glad I picked it).  Then we picked up some Cafe Rio, and Darin picked up a delicious "Nothing Bunt Cake" cake!  

And just before bed, I got a surprise visit from my cute son Isaac!  He brought balloons, a card, flowers, and cheesecake! 

It was the PERFECT day!!!

Valentine's Day

Valentines Day had me going through all the feelings......

First I got this BEAUTIFUL bouquet of roses from Darin delivered....

But, then I saw the card that came with it.....

Apparently he put a bunch of emojis with his message and they came out question marks.

He knows how to keep me guessing!  Ha!

Galentine's Day!

We had a fun ladies Galentine's Day brunch!  I go ministering to these ladies, and I adore them so!  

Jadi's Valentine's Party

My sister in law, Jadi, hosted the CUTEST party for all of the Gunnerson girls!

She went ALL OUT!!  She had two kinds of cookies, two kinds of cupcakes, a chocolate dipping station with two kinds of chocolate, strawberries, ritz with peanut butter, cake pops. a valentine card making station and more!  Everything was decorated so cute too!

There were several Gunnerson girls that were missing that we missed, but we had lots of fun with the gals that were there!  Lucy loved "sneaking" m&ms and didn't too many on her treats.  I think she took a few of the cousins as well!

Thanks so much Jadi for a WONDERFUL day!  We loved it!!

Chinese New Year!

We had a simple but fun Chinese New Year!

We got some takeout and our neighbors invited us over for fireworks!
