New Year's Eve

We had a wonderful New Year's Eve!
We said goodbye to 2018 and welcomed in 2019!
My parents, and Ben and Kristy's family joined us.
We ate yummy food, played some games, and rang in the New Year around 9:30!

After everyone left, we decided to let the kids stay up until midnight this year!
I fell asleep at one point (not sure when), and just happened to wake up at 11:50.
Everyone was sound asleep, with the exception of Andrew!
We woke everyone up, watched the ball drop, banged on pots and pans, watched some neighbors fireworks until we got too cold, and went to bed!

Welcome 2019

Christmas Day

I wasn't great at taking picture on Christmas day, but it was fun to just enjoy the magic!
This was one of the most magical years yet!
I LOVE the ages of my kids right now!

Every year I tell the kids to give Santa TWO ideas for gifts, and then he can pick one.
Matt made the comment that EVERY year, they seem to get BOTH!
Andrew caught on to that, and decided to give Santa THREE ideas...and if Santa wanted to get him all three, that would be alright by him. Well, Santa pulled through and got Andrew all three, Matt and Lindsay their two, and an extra surprise.

This year, the kids got:

Matt- Magic Set, SLC Lego temple, and a drone
Lindsay- clip on earrings, a gymnastic mat (with an outfit), and a slime kit.
Andrew- Blue Ukulele, a two wheeler bike, and three Goldfish (named brownie, goldie, and goldie).
Lucy- a doll, stroller, and stacking cups.

Best Christmas Yet!

Christmas Eve

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve this year!
Ben and Kristy hosted and they went ALL out!
They did an amazing and delicious Charcuterie Board.
One of the meats Ben got was from Spain and was $144 a POUND!!

After dinner we watched the kids do the Nativty.
We played a Christmas song game, tensie, adn Left, Right, Center.
Rick won and his reaction was HILARIOUS!

After Ben and Kristy's, we hurried home to clean the house (Santa can't come to a messy house), put out milk and cookies for Santa and went to bed.
