Parade Preview!

This week we went to the Parade Preview to see the floats up close!
Any chance to be with cousins is a win!
And it is fun to see Barbie's work up close!  She is AMAZING!!  She did TWELVE floats this year!
(I help with one float, but it wasn't at the preview).
They had some fun activities, games, dress ups, and free coloring books.

9th Anniversary

Darin and I had a wonderful anniversary!
Thanks to a gift card, we had an AMAZING dinner at Ruth's Chris!
It was the BEST steak I've EVER EVER had!  (And everything else was amazing too!)
The service was incredible, and they even called after Darin had made the reservation to ask how many years we had been married.  When we arrived, they had a glass with NINE roses..one for each year!  They REALLY went above and beyond!

After dinner, we walked around Temple Square and City Creek.
I loved just walking around with Darin, reminiscing, and laughing over memories.
(And a shout out to Ben and Kristy--thanks for watching our kiddos!!)

Our actual anniversary was on Sunday, so I HAD to do another "Anniversary Inn" room.
This year the kids joined us for an Indian Dinner and we watched an Indian movie.

Kanarraville Falls

While we were in St. George, we decided to hike Kanarraville Falls.  I had seen lots of pictures before, and let me just say it did NOT disappoint!   I was SO PROUD of our kids!  They did AWESOME!  It had some tough scary parts and the hike was pretty far for kids (5+ miles), but they were AMAZING!  Lucky for Andrew, he has an awesome dad that carried him most the way up, and the whole way down while he slept!  Near the top there were some slides that were REALLY fun!  Everyone did it except for Lindsay.  I kind of wish I would have made her because I think she would have liked it once she got over the fear factor.  If you are ever near Kanarraville, I HIGHLY recommend this hike!  Hands down the prettiest one I've ever done!
