Part two of our stay-cation was going to the planetarium, hanging around gateway, riding Trax, and then going to Mrs. Cavanaugh's Chocolate Factory tour!

Spring Break Part 1- Park Hopping and Fondue
We had a nice "stay-cation" for spring break! Darin took the week off which was HEAVEN!
The first day we did some "park hopping." We picked up some sushi, strawberries, and cucumbers for a picnic lunch, played at the park, played some baseball, and enjoyed the nice weather!
That night we had fondue for dinner and started our first day of binge watching "Just Add Magic" which we watched several episodes of every night--such a cute show!
Bits and Pieces
We had a WONDERFUL General Conference, and this year we did a "Conference Store" that the kids LOVED!! WE will definitely be doing this again in the fall! They sat and listened SO WELL!!
I have a jar with strips of paper in it with ideas for Sunday activities the kids can do.
One of the suggestions was to make a gratitude mobile.
Matt thought it was supposed to be a gratitude-mobile! Ha!He is so cute and clever! I love this gratitude mobile he made!
Matt had to make a cake for blue and gold banquet!
He did it 100% by himself (I had to stay in the other room so I wouldn't try helping).He did GREAT!
Lucy loved sitting in the blocks box!
Crazy hair day! A marshmallow roasting on a fire and a donut!
For April Fools Day we told the kids they were having a "practice" first day of school at their new school. We walked the full mile at 7:30 in the morning! After announcing "April Fools" we took them out to breakfast! Andrew did NOT think it was funny!
For lunch, the kids got ONE hamburger to share!
