Mother Daughter Gingerbread House Party

My cute friend, Whitney, invited Lindsay and me for a gingerbread decorating party!

It was really fun to be with them, and to design our houses while drinking yummy hot chocolate!

Hanukkah

The last few times that we've had people over for dinner, the families happened to have kids Matt and Andrew's ages.  Lindsay was feeling a little left out.  So, when we decided to invite a family to join us for Hanukkah, we let Lindsay chose any friend to come with their family.  I LOVE that her first choice was Eliza!  These two cousins are such cute friends, and we loved having Ben, Kristy, and Reese too! We ate latkes, donuts, played dreidel, and other games too!  It was a fun night!

Bits and Pieces

Our Power was out for 10 hours, so we came and spent the night with my parents.
The kids loved having the sleepover, and waking up to see that Sinterklaas had still found them!

Darin and I went on a date with Geoff and Jadi to see Jim Gaffigan.

We also went on a date to Darin's work party at the aquarium.

Matt got his braces off.  He gets to have them off for about a year before he will start phase two.

I went on a girls trip to the temple and lunch.  I sure do love these ladies.

Matt got to be Samuel the lamanite at church!

Lindsay, Lucy, and I have matching cherry dresses.  I failed to get a picture of all three of us.

You can kind of see my dress from this picture my friend snapped when Lucy fell asleep during Relief Society.

Matt's primary teacher, and my friend, Laura, died. 
Their class sang at her funeral and did a great (but heartbreaking) job.

Alpine Live Nativity

Last week we went to the Alpine live nativity with Geoff and Jadi's family, Rick and Olivia's family, and dad and mom.  Jadi hosted us for a delicious dinner, activities for the kids, and hot chocolate and donuts following.  It was a wonderful night!
