Bike Parade

This year, my kids really wanted to do the Centerville kids bike parade. 
Unfortunately, our car died (as in we have to get a new car), so we couldn't go.
The kids were sad to miss it, and so I decided to just do our own bike parade with our four kids.
Then, I decided to just invite the whole neighborhood and in a few hours we pulled off such a fun little bike parade!  The kids all did such a great job decorated their bikes and it was fun to have all the neighbors over afterwards for some Popsicles.

4th of July

Several years before I was born, my aunt Charlene started a fun family tradition of doing a fourth of July breakfast.  It has always been my favorite tradition!  I love getting together with my extended family that I love so much!  We have grown so much, and our family is getting older and bigger, and this was our last year for our extended family (my great grandma's posterity) to have this breakfast!

We are so thankful to Charlene and her many years of kindness to host such a large gathering!  We will miss it in the future, but we will always treasure or past memories!

After breakfast, we stopped by Centerville to see some of the festivities there.

That night, our neighbors invited us for a BBQ and fireworks.

It was a pretty spectacular fourth of July!

Andrea's Shower

I did a little shower for my friend, Andrea, this weekend.

She is such a darling girl and she is going to be a wonderful mother!

Matt's Tennis

Matthew was able to spend two weeks taking tennis lessons and he had a great time!

He thinks it may be his new favorite sport.  

I am pretty sure a big part of that was because he was able to take lessons with Spencer!  

He also loved the hour following the lessons when they played together at the park, home playing legos, or going swimming! Too bad it was only two weeks and not the whole summer.

And grandma Gunnerson taught Lindsay how to crochet.
