Memorial Day (Sunday)

We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

After church we went to our grandparents' graves.

It was fun to tell the kids about their ancestors!  

What a WONDERFUL legacy they have on both sides of the family!

At the first cemetery, we saw an older lady walking back and forth across the lawn.  I decided to see if she needed some help.  She said that she was 89 and she found her husband's grave, and two of her kids, but she couldn't find her daughter.  We had her sit on a bench and set out to find it for her.  We found it, and visited with her for a while, and I think the kids really liked helping her.  She was a lovely lady.

I love the technology we have! It was so fun for Darin to pull up ancestry.com and show the kids pictures of the people we were visiting!  I really feel so thankful for those who have gone before us!  

After visiting the cemeteries, we came home and had some DELICIOUS shish kabobs!!

Memorial Day Hike

The Saturday before Memorial Day we went up the Uintas for a little hike. 

It was a beautiful day and we had lots of fun!

End of the School Year

Isaac's Football Championship

Have I ever mentioned how much I love this oldest son of mine!!??

I LOVE Isaac!!

This last weekend he had his championship football game and won 28-0!!

We are so proud of you Isaac!!

Temple Trip with the YW

A month before Darin got released from the bishopric, I got put back in the Young Womens presidency.  I LOVE getting to be with these girls!  This month we did a temple trip, and snapped a few pictures afterwards!

Mother's Day 2017

Best Mother's Day EVER!!

Breakfast in bed, kind notes from the kids, flowers from the kids, Darin, and Isaac, getting to sleep in, Darin getting the kids ready for church, amazing dinner by my brother Ben, and more!

This is the dinner Ben made--(and Kristy trimmed and pounded all the chicken).

It was SOOOOOOO STINKING GOOOD!!

These flowers weren't from mother's day....they were from my aunt Roseanne from Amsterdam after I complained that my mom got to  "babysit" her last bouquet of flowers----then I got my own!  They are amazing!

Mid Market and High Council

This has been a big week for Darin!! Monday he got a new promotion at work and stared a new job! Then, last night, he got put on the High Council! (And cute brother Smith made us get a family picture so we can see how much our family will have changed by the time Darin gets released).  And President Hill let Andrew sit at his desk for the whole night and Andrew thought that was pretty special.
