4th of July Breakfast!

Every year, my Aunt Charlene hosts the yummiest breakfast of the year!!
Our group keeps getting bigger and bigger, but somehow she manages to do it!

We had macadamia nut pancakes with toasted coconut and coconut syrup, ham and cheese strata, caramel pullaparts, strawberries, bananas, cantaloupe, watermelon, honeydew,  juice, chocolate milk, and more!  Mmmm!!  So yummy!!

The only thing better than the food is the company!  I started trying to get pictures of everyone, but I got distracted, and missed a bunch of people.  But, it was a great day and fun to be together!!

Our awesome hostess!!

I love the photobombs in the background!!

This is probably my favorite picture!

4th of July Part 2

After breakfast, we went to Grandpa's for a dip in the pool.
We had a fun swim with cousins and then we went to mom and dad's for a BBQ.
Mom and dad gave the kids 'bug catchers' and they had a lot of fun with that.

Following the BBQ we went to Ben and Kristy's for fireworks!
They let each kid chose their own, which was a lot more fun and interactive.

That night we went to another BBQ with the Richards and more fireworks!
It was a busy, but busy fun day!

Becca's 14th Birthday!

My super darling niece, Becca, turned 14 on Monday.
I know it's cliche to say, but I still remember the day she was born.
It's extra weird to think that next year, she'll be the age I was when she was born!

Becca is such a kind good girl, and I'm so glad that my kids have her as an example--because she's a good one!

We celebrated her birthday up in Mueller Park Canyon.
We roasted hot dogs, ate yummy food and cake, and we made s'mores!

Happy Birthday Becca!!

Oh, Andrew and Reese!  These two make me laugh!!
(And yes, Andrew is older--my tiny little man).

Swimming!

I'm starting to wonder if we should just pack our bags and move to the pool.
So far this summer (besides the weekends), we've only missed three days of swimming!
My kids are turning into little fish!!
Especially Matt!  I can't believe the improvements he's made already.

We're almost half way done with summer!
Bring on more swim dates!!
