Alphabet Dates -- R Date

Darin planned a RELAXING R date.
We went to a RESTAURANT called RED Iguana—that has amazing RATINGS and REVIEWS.
(Seriously, this place is worth the hype!)
After dinner we went for a little RIDE while listening to ROCK and ROLL, then came home to RELAX.
We RENTED a ROMANTIC movie called No RESERVATIONS and had REFRESHMENTS.
It was a RAD night!  Oh, and our babysitter was RACHEL.

My cute husband in his RED shirt!

They brought us a mole sampler with NINE different kinds of mole.  So yummy!

Darin got the pistachio mole--it was divine!

I got half mango half almond mole.
I've never been so excited about leftovers!

And, we had a nice view of the RAILROAD track!

(Thanks Ben and Kristy for letting us "rent" your movie).

Funny Andrew

Andrew does this all the time!  But I finally caught it on video!

I seriously can't stop laughing!!

Go Tailgaters!

Who knew I'd love being a "soccer mom" so much!?
This has been such a fun season of soccer!
We really lucked out and had a GREAT team!
They won nearly every game and they all meshed well together.

The teams are supposed to be organized based on location.
I think our team was the "leftovers."
We had Centerville, Bountiful, West Bountiful, North Salt Lake, and Woods Cross.

I can't believe how much Matt improved over the season!
This last day he scored two goals!  He was on FIRE!

I love the kids on the team, their parents, and our coach.
At the end of the season, he had a big ice-cream party and gave out awards.
Great season Tailgaters!  Now, I can't wait for the fall!!

Alphabet Dates--Q Date

It was my turn to plan our Q date.
We invited some friends to join us on a QUADRUPLE date.
We had a QUESADILLA bar and my cute friend Laurie brought QUINOA.
We played a game of QUOITS and my friend Lisa brought a game called QWIRKLE
After our friends went home Darin and I watched a movie from our Netflix QUEUE in our QUEEN bed and cuddled under a QUILT

When everyone was leaving, we saw this view to the east

And this pretty view to the west.

Cousins

My floors were soaked and we had one broken dish, but it was worth it to hear these two cousins giggle as they "washed" dishes together!!

Summer is HERE!!

How did this boy graduate from Kindergarten?
I am beyond happy to get him full time for summer, but a little sick knowing next time I send him back it will be for the full day.

Matthew is one amazing boy.  He is so kind, thoughtful, helpful, and incredibly sensitive.
I sure love this now first grader!

He had a WONDERFUL fun-filled last day of school!

Getting on the bus for the last time!

Celebrating with a few buddies!

Big hugs for Mrs. Ashcroft!

Matt brought home an AMAZING report card!
So, I thought we'd go buy him some lunch.
(And it helped that he had a free kids meal coupon from Corner Cafe).

After lunch, my friend Camie hosted a fun last day of school party!

After their party, we went and crashed my sister, Heather's party!

Yay for cousins!  And hooray for a summer FULL of cousins!!

2012

After doing videos of 2014 and 2013, I did another for 2012.
I realize no one will appreciate these videos as much as I do, I just think my kids are so cute!

I can't believe what a couple years does!

Fun memories of 2012.....
