Zoo Day

Kristy invited us for one last day at the zoo before her pass expired.
We had so much fun!  We love getting to be with cousins!

(And we loved being with Jess and baby Hunter too).

My favorite animal is a giraffe, and it was the giraffe's 30th birthday that day!

Earth Day

Darin had the day off on Earth Day.

We celebrated by going to J&J's tomato frenzy.

We bought a TON of plants--and we got two new trees too!

These kids love working in the garden with their awesome dad!

Our Lil' Monster Is TWO!!

We had a little Monster Birthday for Andrew yesterday.

I thought a "Monster Theme" fit him a little too well!!

It was a beautiful day, even though it had snowed only two days earlier!

Thanks to all the family for coming!

Here is the cake I made.  

I used a grass tip to frost it, melted chocolate chips for the pupils and mouth, and candy-melts for the teeth.

I was really happy with my carved watermelon I made! And Andrew loved it too!

Monster sandwiches

My cheeto monster.  (I used a pool noodle, toothpicks, and cheetos).

I love this guy--my friend Barbie painted him, and all the monsters you'll see in the last picture.

We ended with this little 30 second video of our monster.

Gunnerson Easter Dinner and Mission Call

We had Darin's family over for a post-Easter celebration.

(But we missed you Tom, Geoff, Chris, and families)

We had an Easter Dinner and then, luckily for us, Darin's parents got their mission call THAT day, and opened it with us at our house that night.

They are going to JAPAN!!!  Darin served his mission in Japan, so we are extra excited!!
