Happy Halloween!!!

Mom and dad planned a fun Halloween party.
Yummy food, fun games, cute costumes, and more!

This year, our family did "Snow White."
Lindsay was Snow White, Matt was Prince Charming, Andrew was Dopey, I was the Evil Queen, and Darin was the Magic Mirror.

Eliza was a perfect Cinderella and Reese a darling mouse.

And I LOVE Annie and Gracie as American Girl Dolls.

Grandma had several fun games planned.
Here are the kids listening to instructions.

Waiting their turn for the games.

This was a Frankenstein race.  They had to keep the pennies on the back of their hands.

The next game was a Dracula race.
They had to transport marshmallows in their vampire teeth.

This game the kids had to transfer Skeleton rings on straws across the room.
You can see Andrew dropping his ring in this picture.

Last, the kids had to knock over ghost water bottles with nylons and a ball on their head.

After the party, we went trick or treating to Grandpa Welling.

Finally, trick or treating on Main!

Happy Halloween!!

Breakfast at Tiffany's (& CAA Halloween Party).

Lindsay borrowed Eliza's DARLING Audrey Hepburn costume for her ballet party today.
I couldn't resist doing a mini photo shoot before the party across the street.
I think she makes the CUTEST little Audrey!!

Lindsay with two of her ballet buddies!

She has the cutest teacher....who dressed up as a HOUSE!!

Thanks CAA for the fun party!!
And thanks Eliza and Kristy for the cute cute costume!!

Apple Picking

I sure do love having this apple tree!!
And I love these kiddos that pick the delicious apples for us to eat!!

We decided to rake for our neighbors.
We wanted to surprise them, but they came home while we were still working.
Then our cute neighbors, the Petersons, came to join us!
We had a fun time!

6th Annual Neighborhood Donut Party

We pulled off another successful donut party!
I made the most donuts I've ever done!  It was a TON!
I started making donuts about 3:30, and we didn't stop until about 10:00.
It is a lot of work, but it also is one of my favorite nights of the year!
We are so lucky to have such AMAZING neighbors!

My cute helpers!

This isn't even all of the donuts...and I still had another bowl of dough!

My awesome, studly husband!
(And thanks Heather for letting us use your fabulous fryer!)

Until next year!!
