Earth Day

Darin had the day off on Earth Day.
We celebrated by going to J&J's tomato frenzy.
We bought a TON of plants--and we got two new trees too!

These kids love working in the garden with their awesome dad!

Our Lil' Monster Is TWO!!

We had a little Monster Birthday for Andrew yesterday.
I thought a "Monster Theme" fit him a little too well!!

It was a beautiful day, even though it had snowed only two days earlier!
Thanks to all the family for coming!

Here is the cake I made.
I used a grass tip to frost it, melted chocolate chips for the pupils and mouth, and candy-melts for the teeth.

I was really happy with my carved watermelon I made! And Andrew loved it too!

Monster sandwiches

My cheeto monster.  (I used a pool noodle, toothpicks, and cheetos).

I love this guy--my friend Barbie painted him, and all the monsters you'll see in the last picture.

We ended with this little 30 second video of our monster.

Gunnerson Easter Dinner and Mission Call

We had Darin's family over for a post-Easter celebration.
(But we missed you Tom, Geoff, Chris, and families)
We had an Easter Dinner and then, luckily for us, Darin's parents got their mission call THAT day, and opened it with us at our house that night.

They are going to JAPAN!!!  Darin served his mission in Japan, so we are extra excited!!

Skyping with Geoff and Jadi as they got ready to open their call.

They peeked before they told us.  I LOVE mom's face here!!

Future office missionaries of the Japan, Nagoya mission!

Happy 2nd Easter!!

2013 Family Video

I liked how my 2014 video turned out, so I decided to make another one for 2013!
Stay tuned... I have a feeling 2012 is just around the corner!

Hodgkinson Easter Dinner

Hodgkinson Easter Dinner
Dinner was divine!  (It always is).
Oh, how I love being with this wonderful family of mine!

Mom's ham was the best I'd ever had!
Heather H's salad was amazing!
And Heather M's rolls were super cute--you can't see it very well, but they are bunnies!

Dessert--also yumm-o!
Ben and Kristy made that beauty!  Woah!!

Cute matching Annie and Grace!

It was extra fun to have Job and Johanna for a little while!
Love my cousins!

Lindsay "reading" the 1st clue (with LOTS of help from Becca).

Going upstairs for a clue!

Back downstairs for a clue in the office.

Upstairs and down again!

A clue in the fridge!

Back upstairs to the balcony!

They FOUND it!!

One of the gifts was silly string!
First, they got Uncle Rick!

Next they got grandpa!

They also got some bubbles!

Super-model Kristy with her cute girls--just wish Ben was in it too.

Andrew and Reese.
Would you believe that Andrew is 5 months OLDER that Reese.
I think they look like they could be twins!

Happy Easter!!
