Jesus Loves Me

Hope you had a Happy Easter!

The grandparents are probably the only ones that will enjoy this, but I thought it was too cute not to share.  I love this song, I love the message, and I LOVE the little boy singing it!

Jesus climbed the hill
To the garden still
His steps were heavy and slow
Love and a prayer
Took Him there
To the place only He could go

Gethsemane
Jesus loves me
So He went willingly
To Gethsemane

He felt all that was sad, wicked or bad
All the pain we would ever know
While His friends were asleep
He fought to keep
His promise made long ago

Gethsemane
Jesus loves me
So He went willingly
To Gethsemane

The hardest thing That ever was done
The greatest pain that ever was known
The biggest battle that ever was won
This was done by Jesus.
The fight was won by Jesus.

Gethsemane
Jesus loves me
So he gave His gift to me
In Gethsemane

Gethsemane
Jesus loves me
So he gives His gift to me
From Gethsemane

I'm not a grandparent, but I love it! And I love how even falling off the chair didn't break his focus. Very cute and impressive!

Adorable. James watched with me and commented on how good Matthew did singing all by himself. My favorite part was him falling off the chair, but continuing to sing. He is a natural performer. Adorable. And beautiful song. I hadn't heard that before. Who sings it?

Thanks Natasha! It was written by Jenny Phillips. Our stake had a primary choir sing it for Stake Conference and I loved it too!
