Happy New Year!! Welcome 2012!!

Wow!! What a year 2011 has been!! It is amazing to think of everything we have gone through in the past year! Lots of ups and downs—mostly ups! We’ve had so many blessings and tender mercies throughout the year! Thank you to all of our wonderful friends, family, acquaintances, and even perfect strangers who have blessed our lives!

For New Year’s Eve, we had my parents over for some games, food, movies, fireworks, and more! It was a really fun night! Thanks mom and dad for coming over!

This was my “balloon drop” that I made. It came undone at like 8:30ish, so we had a practice celebration! Matt LOVED it!

About the Gunnerson's

Darin grew up in SLC, and finished High School in Layton. I grew up in Bountiful, and would be perfectly happy to die here! Darin served a full time LDS mission in Fukuoka, Japan then graduated from the U of U in International Studies and Buisness. I graduated from BYU so we have a little rivalry in our family!

Darin and I met at a service project in the summer of 2006. We dated for nearly a year before we got married in the Bountiful Temple. Darin is a stock broker and I taught school for 2 1/2 years until our little Matthew came to join our family, followed by Lindsay who came two years after that! Now I am a stay at home mom, and feel so thankful that cicumstances have allowed me to do that!
